Daniela Nepote holds a degree in Political Science from the University of Turin (Italy). She then obtained an M.A. in International Studies from the University of Sheffield UK and a Post Degree Certificate in Education from Sheffield Hallam University (UK).

She has worked for many years in the British Academia; for 8 years at Sheffield Hallam University as a Senior Lecturer in International Business and for 2 years in Oxford Brookes as a Lecturer in Business Studies.

She is a researcher, her main interests are in the field of regional economics focusing in particular on the drivers and consequences of Research and Innovation policies of the Piedmont Region.
