Nicoletta Torchio is a researcher and she has been working with IRES since 2017 on rural development and on the evaluation of the Rural Development Programme 2014-2020 of Regione Piemonte.

Expert in quantitative research techniques and impact evaluation analysis of public policies, with specific focus on labour market issues and rural development policies, she has taught Economics of the European Union at Politecnico di Torino and has carried out research activity for the Università del Piemonte Orientale.

She is graduated in Economics and obtained a MSc in Economics at the Warwick University.
